Overview

External reports in AdviserLogic are designed to present client-friendly information such as investment performance, asset allocation, and portfolio insights. These reports are typically shared with clients or stakeholders and focus on clear, concise communication of financial data.

Within AdviserLogic, external report types allow you to extract and present data from client records in structured formats such as PDF or Word. This helps you demonstrate the value of your advice, support compliance, and enhance client engagement through professional reporting.

ARC Reporting in AdviserLogic

ARC Reporting within AdviserLogic offers financial professionals a comprehensive suite of research and analysis tools, providing both basic and advanced insights. Users can access various types of reports to support their investment strategies and client engagements. These reports range from basic templates to more sophisticated analyses, depending on the level of ARC subscription.

Research Report Access Points

Research reports in AdviserLogic can be downloaded from the Asset screen, Digital Advice scenario card, and template reports. For managed funds, a single research report is generated, typically a one-page summary for each fund, followed by a disclaimer page.

Types of Reports

Basic Report

The Basic Report, typically consisting of two pages, is accessible to all AdviserLogic users, regardless of whether they have subscribed to ARC. It provides essential data but does not include a Morningstar analysis summary. These free reports are available through the Digital Advice module for non-ARC users.

Advanced Report

The Advanced Report, also usually two pages, includes a detailed Morningstar analysis summary. These reports are exclusive to ARC subscribers, regardless of the subscription tier. ARC users can download these reports via the Digital Advice module.

Comprehensive Report

For a deeper analysis, the Comprehensive Report spans 25 pages and is available only through ARC. These reports offer extensive insights into managed funds and are accessible via the ARC platform or API for users with the appropriate subscription level.

Signature Report (SAL Report)

Signature Reports, also referred to as SAL reports, differ from the downloadable PDF reports. These web-based reports provide close-of-business data and vary in the level of insight depending on the ARC subscription. The Free version provides basic data, while the Premium version offers in-depth analysis powered by Morningstar.

Other Key Reports

  • Product Disclosure Statement (PDS): These reports provide a summary of essential information needed to make investment decisions. They are available as PDF files via Digital Advice in AdviserLogic and the ARC website, or as DOCX files in the Template section.

  • Target Market Determination (TMD): TMDs outline the target market for specific financial products, including key attributes and alignment with consumer objectives. These are available only to ARC users as PDFs or DOCX files, providing critical distribution information.
