Overview

The Digital Advice module in AdviserLogic allows you to create structured advice scenarios based on your client’s financial situation, goals, and strategies. These scenarios form the foundation of your advice process, enabling you to model different outcomes, compare strategies, and generate compliant advice documents efficiently.

Creating scenarios ensures your advice is consistent, traceable, and aligned with client objectives while supporting compliance and documentation requirements.

⚠️Important

Support logins have read-only access to scenarios. Only Paraplanners and Advisers can create or edit scenarios.

Access

Go to the Digital Advice page from the client's top menu bar.

Select Scenarios.

Select Add Scenario.

This will take you to the entity selection screen where you can choose if the advice is for the client, partner or joint. You can also select whether the scenario will be an SoA or an RoA. Select Proceed to Scope to enter the strategies you want to complete.

Enter the name of your Scenario. A default value will be created for you but you can edit to make this more meaningful for your scenario.

You Can now edit fact find data after commencing a scenario. In order to pull any changes made in Fact Find into the scenario after the scenario has been created, select the circular arrow Refresh button from the bottom right of the scenario card.

📌Note

Your fact find data is not updated from details you enter into Digital Advice.

Selecting Strategies

The next step is to select what advice strategies you wish to include.

  • The strategies available depend on the advice template attached.

  • If a strategy is greyed out – this means your client is not able to use this strategy as they may not have the asset.

Select the strategy you wish to use. It will change colour so you can easily identify. Selecting the button again will deselect this strategy. The strategies are grouped under headings for types, i.e., Superannuation. Insurance. Investment.

  • Adding a strategy to your template. If you write a strategy regularly, and it is not in your or your Licensees template, this can be added. Contact support to discuss your needs and to request a quote.

Linking Goals

Next step is to link the selected strategies with your client goals. Select the button to select a strategy to link to the goal. Reselect to remove.

  • Goals need to be entered into the Fact Finder before you begin.

  • You can select multiple strategies for each goals.

  • Not allocating a Strategy to a Goal will scope the Goal out of your advice.

Select Proceed from the bottom right of the window once you have finished assigning goals, to move on to the first strategy.
