βDigital Advice Settings
Select the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the scenario screen to change the default settings. You can also access settings via the go-to settings link the first time you access Digital Advice for a client.

Settings changes apply to the whole practice.

Settings can be edited under three main pages:
General Settings
Fee Splits
Split the fee in AFSL split & Practice split
Select Change to update your Licensee fee split

Adviser Upfront/Ongoing
Add Upfront and Ongoing fees for Advice, Super, and Investment.
β
Select Change to add/update fees you charge as defaults. These will auto-populate in your advice Scenarios.

A window will open, allowing you to add both Upfront and Ongoing fees for Advice, Super and Investment in the editable fields.

Words used in the description will show in the scenario and then in the advice. Example:
Preparation
Implementation
Ongoing
By using these keywords in the fee description, the fees will show in your Statement of Advice as direct fees. Fees from a Fee Structure applied to a portfolio will be shown in the investment advice fees table.

The fee structure created in Administrative Tools > Compliance Including FOFA > FOFA Fee Structure is connected to the Portfolio Advice Fees Setup in Digital Advice > Scenarios > Settings > Portfolio Advice Fees Setup. However, the calculation method used in the two areas is different. Digital Advice uses an income tax method, whereas a single rate based on the amount will be used for the whole amount in the Compliance next year's fee projection.

Investment Advice - Super Justifications changed in the Super Settings

From the Settings landing page, navigate to the justifications heading and select Change from the right-hand side.

A window will open showing the justifications that will apply to the Add/Switch Strategy. Beneath this strategy heading, the justifications are divided into Reasons or Consequences. Select the justification type under the strategy the justification is to be added, and select Add.

Having entered the justification, select the tick at the right end of the field to save, or the X to delete.

The justification will be saved in the list, and another may be added by re-selecting Add.

To Edit or Delete a justification simply hover over it and select the pencil icon to edit, or the bin icon to delete.

The pre-created Justifications will be selectable from a list at the end of the strategy they relate to and preloaded into your advice.

Default View
Choose between platform and category view by selecting your preference.
Select Template
From the General Settings, go to the Default template field- the current template will show under the Change button. Select the change button to change the template. Now choose the select folders and then select the template then Save.

SMA Setup
To select SMA managers that will be available for recommendation, choose the SMA setup option.
Select Change to modify or complete the SMA setup.

In AdviserLogic, SMAs are shown as invested in the platform with specific costs (ICRs) and asset allocations.

On the SMA Setup screen, search or select the SMA manager from those listed below the search field by ticking the checkbox to the right of the manager name, and select Next.

Select a platform in which to invest your SMA. Then select Next to proceed.
The Set Investment Fees and Costs page will show the available SMAs of the SMA managers selected. Each SMA will show the platforms selected in the previous step, along with a field to enter the Fees associated with the SMA.

Manually enter the ICRs in the fields to the right of the platform names and select Save.
To Access the Super Settings, select this option from the left menu.

Justifications
Select Change the right of the Justifications Heading.

βA window will open showing the Recommended strategies the justifications apply to.

Under each Strategy heading, the justifications are divided into Reasons or Consequences. Select the justification type under the strategy the justification is to be added, and select Add.

Having entered the justification, select the tick at the right end of the field to save, or the X to delete.

The justification will be saved in the list, and another may be added by re-selecting Add.

The Justification may be short and succinct or more involved.

To Edit or Delete a justification, simply hover over it and select the pencil icon to edit, or the bin icon to delete.

The justification will only show as a single line you will not be able to modify this or create multiple lines

The pre-created Justifications will be selectable from a list at the end of the strategy they relate to and preloaded into your advice, along with the Benefits and Disadvantages discovered during the comparison stage.

Research Defaults for SMSF
Select Change to add/update the values of selected parameters which will be shown on the research page.

There are 40 parameters that can be edited and set as defaults.

SMSF Fee Defaults
Select Change to add/update SMFS fee details.

Fees can be updated by entering the values into the editable fields.
β
Rollover Defaults
Select Change to add/update Rollover Defaults.
β
Set the Threshold amount, Small Balance Wrap (Super) & Large Balance Wrap (Super)
Select Change/Remove to add/update or remove the amount and platforms.

When using the Super Rollover strategy in Digital Advice, you will now have these platforms selected as the default platform based on the rollover value. This can be a great time saver.
Portfolio Advice Fee Setup
To Set up Portfolio Advice fees go to this option from the settings landing page.

Select the Add Fee Structure button

Enter the fee structure by filling in the editable fields.

From - To: The client's portfolio balance amount that will be subject to this Fee Structure type - This is often related to the client categories.
Amount Type: Determine whether the fee will be charged as a percentage or dollar amount
Fee: The percentage or Dollar amount to be charged
Multiple fee structures can be added to ensure all the client types are represented.

Once there are several Fee structures in place, the Add New button will move to the top right of the window.

The fee structures are also available via Administrative Tools > Compliance Including FOFA > FOFA Fee Structure
