Overview
Managing super fund records effectively ensures accurate financial planning and reporting. In AdviserLogic, you can archive inactive or closed super funds to keep client records streamlined, while still having the flexibility to reopen them when necessary.
When You Might Need to Archive or Reopen a Super Fund:
Client switches super funds – Archive the old fund while maintaining a record of past contributions.
Inactive or closed accounts – Remove unnecessary funds from active records while keeping them accessible for historical reference.
Reopening for review or adjustments – Restore an archived fund if details need to be updated or referenced in future planning.
By properly archiving and reopening super funds, you can maintain clean, accurate, and well-organised client records, ensuring better financial management and reporting.
Archiving a Super Fund
To access a client’s super fund, navigate to the Superannuation tab within Fact Find > Financial > Superannuation and select the existing super fund you want to manage.
From there, you can archive the super fund by clicking the Archive button located in the bottom right corner of the window.
Selecting Archive will activate a pop-up window portraying the below message:
This means that the status of the Superfund will show as closed and this Superfund will reflect in the Archive folder. Once Confirm is selected the fund will be moved to an Archived folder above the Supearnnuation tiles.
When there are no funds in the Archive folder, it will appear as below.
When there is a fund in the Archive folder, it will appear as below.
Accessing an Archived super Fund
Select View Archived, this will show you the Archived Superfund. The status of the fund will reflect as Closed and the total balance will show $0.00.

Reopen an archived Superfund
Here’s how you can reinstate an archived super fund:
Select the ⋮ (three dots) in the upper right corner of the closed fund tile. From the drop-down menu, choose:
✅ Reopen – To restore the fund.
⛔ Delete – To permanently remove it.
This ensures you can manage super fund records efficiently while maintaining accurate client data.
When you select Reopen, a pop-up window will appear, notifying you that all previously saved underlying investments will revert to their prior values if you proceed.
This ensures that any historical investment data associated with the super fund is restored accurately.
Once you have selected Yes, the fund will be moved back to the Active Funds folder.
