Overview

Within AdviserLogic, you can merge duplicate insurer records and exclude insurers from comparison views to keep your data accurate and relevant. Merging insurers combines all related information into a single record, reducing duplication and improving reporting consistency. Excluding insurers from comparisons allows you to focus on appropriate providers only, ensuring your analysis and reports are clear and meaningful.

You need access to Administrative Tools to use the Insurers feature.

Merging Insurers

Go to Tools > Administrative Tools > Product Setup > Insurers

  • Insurer Name - Select an insurer from the list of existing insurers

  • Merge Insurer- Select the insurer to be merged into from the drop down menu

Selecting Merge will cause all policies listed as america will be changed to show the insurer as the selected AIA, and America will be removed as an insurer option in the example below.

📌Note

You can only merge Custom to Custom insurers or Custom to Standard Insurers.

Alternatively, you can eliminate this insurer from returning results for quotes by ticking the box titled Insurer excluded from comparison.
