Overview

Admin Tools allow you to manage practice-level settings such as user roles, permissions, and configuration options. If you do not already have access, you can request it directly from the User Management screen. This feature provides a simple way for you to alert the Super Admins in your practice that you require elevated access so you can carry out practice-wide changes when needed.

Access

You can start by opening the Tools section in your AdviserLogic account. If you do not yet have Admin Tools access, the options in the right-hand column will appear greyed out.

Selecting the Raise a Request button opens a prompt where you can submit an internal request to your practice’s Super Admins, asking them to grant you the additional Admin Tools permission.

Select the Super Admin who will approve your access, then wait for them to grant the permission.

📌Note

  • The list will be populated only by users with the requisite permission levels.

  • It is possible to request access from multiple users based on your company's best practices.

Your Admin Tools notification will update to show that your request is now pending.

How to Grant Access

The Super Admins you selected will receive an email and a Notification Centre alert letting them know about your request.

They can review and complete the request directly from their Notification Centre.

The requester will receive a notification confirming whether the access request has been approved or declined.

💡Tip

If your request is not approved, you can submit a new access request by repeating the same steps.

Other Super Admins in the practice will also receive a notification advising whether the request has been approved or declined.

To remove Admin Tools access after it has been granted, the Practice Champion will need to contact AdviserLogic Support to complete the revocation.

For transparency and accountability, a logging mechanism records all permission approvals and rejections, including who performed each action. This audit trail can be provided on request by AdviserLogic Support.
