Troubleshooting AdviserLogic Issues
This section will now include a broader context of troubleshooting steps for resolving browser-related issues in AdviserLogic.
Sometimes AdviserLogic can behave unexpectedly, pages may not load correctly, buttons don’t respond, or login screens repeat. A common cause is outdated or corrupted files stored by your browser. Clearing your browser’s cache removes these temporary files and often resolves these basic issues quickly and safely.
Additionally, using incognito mode, restarting the browser, or switching to another supported browser can also help resolve issues. These steps ensure a fresh session and eliminate potential browser-specific problems.
Additionally, users may encounter issues with report generation, such as templates not loading or research and fee reports failing to generate.
Reports or templates, such as template outflows, do not appear or load correctly.
Research and fee reports fail to generate or download when using specific features like Super Rollover.
Browser Cache Clearing
If this does not resolve the issue, try accessing AdviserLogic in an incognito or private browsing window to disable extensions and use a fresh session.
Clear browser cache by opening a new tab in your Google Chrome, selecting the vertical ellipsis (three dots), then selecting Settings
Ensure you are using the latest version of the recommendation tool or module, as outdated versions may not support certain features or reports.
Select Privacy and Security, then select Clear Browsing data
If template outflows are missing from reports or templates, clearing your browser’s cache and history is often an effective solution.
Reopen the browser after clearing the cache and attempt to generate the report again.
If the issue persists, consider testing another supported browser to determine if the problem is browser-specific.
Select the browsing history and the cached images boxes. We recommend not clearing the cookies and other site data to begin with, as it will log you out of all programs you are signed in to.
Regularly clearing your browser’s cache and history can prevent data conflicts and ensure smoother functionality.
Additionally, ensure you log out of AdviserLogic properly at the end of each day using the profile menu in the top-right corner to avoid session-related issues.
