Overview
The Service Fee Disclosure section in AdviserLogic allows you to record and maintain fee and service information for compliance purposes. This is particularly useful when you need to track ongoing services and associated fees without tying them to specific start or end dates. By using this approach, you can maintain clean, flexible records that support disclosure requirements while avoiding unnecessary date management.
This aligns with common compliance workflows where disclosures may apply continuously rather than within fixed billing periods.
⚠️Important
The current compliance content is being updated to reflect the QAR changes taking effect from 10 January. During this transition, please refer to the QAR Changes article for the most up-to-date information on functionality affected by QAR Legislation.
Within the Compliance tab, users can add services and fees for the clients without adding the dates. Making it easier to track client fees with no ongoing arrangements, but have upfront fees and regular insurance commissions.
If dates have already been entered, they can be eliminated by selecting the Clear Dates button from the top right of the screen and adding the services and fees to be charged.
Selecting Clear Dates will activate a confirmation pop-up.
Selecting the Cancel button will navigate to the previous screen, and no change will be saved.
Selecting Yes, Clear will clear the dates and will set the state of the Application date to Initiate Agreement - which will allow selection from Fixed Term Agreement for periods of 12 months or less or Ongoing Fee Arrangement for ongoing fees for periods exceeding 12 months.
