Datafeed Setup Instructions

Open the instructions for each stage of the setup process by clicking the arrow below.

Stage 1

Register EPI Login

Register the EPI Login Via the HUB24 website.

In the HUB24 Adviser site, navigate to Settings via the Tool Bar and select Adviser, then Setup EPI login.

In the HUB24 Adviser site, navigate to Settings via the Tool Bar and select Adviser, then Setup EPI login.

The EPI password will not be fully displayed on the screen until you enter the AdviserHUB login password and select Show EPI Password.

You can either create a new EPI password or revoke an existing one.

Please note the following for stage 2

📌To successfully set up the HUB24 Datafeed, ensure you have the following details:

  • Account: Your Adviser Code, which is alphanumeric and typically 8–10 characters long.

  • Authentication Code: Provided by HUB24 upon datafeed activation, labeled as the EPI Authentication Code (commonly shown as the Login ID).

  • Password: Provided by HUB24 during activation, labeled as the EPI Authentication Password (alphanumeric and may include symbols).

Final Steps:

  • Tick the "Active" box to enable the datafeed.

  • Tick the "Download Historic Data" box to retrieve past transactions.

  • Click Save to complete the setup.

Ensuring these details are correctly entered will allow for a seamless data integration with AdviserLogic.

Stage 2

Setup Datafeed in AdviserLogic

When you have the current datafeed credentials, you will need to follow the Setup Datafeed Instructions for AdviserLogic​​.

Go to Datafeeds, and select Datafeed Codes from the left menu panel. Select Add.



Select HUB24 from the drop-down menu.




The necessary fields will show in a new window, enter the Adviser Code that can be found in the confirmation email from your provider.

💡Tip

Account: Your Adviser Code (alphanumeric, typically 8–10 characters).

Authentication Code: Provided by HUB24 upon activation, labeled as the EPI Authentication Code (alphanumeric, commonly shown as the Login ID).

Password: Issued by HUB24 during activation, labeled as the EPI Authentication Password (alphanumeric, may include symbols).

✅Ensure you tick both the Active and Download Historic Data boxes at the end of the row, then select Save.

The datafeed should be live within 72 hours.

Please check the File Received Last Date column from the datafeed landing page/datafeed codes page.


The last file received date should be within a few days of the current date.



Once the datafeed is established, you may also check this page to troubleshoot common datafeed issues.

💡Tip

It is a good idea to determine the code's expiry date from your provider and set a task for the following year to prevent datafeed interruptions.

If the datafeed credentials have expired and the datafeed has been inactive for some time the result will reflect in incorrect balances within the client's assets.

The datafeed should be live within 72 hours.

Please check the File Received Last Date column from the datafeed landing page/datafeed codes page.


The last file received date should be within a few days of the current date.

Stage 3

Map Client Accounts

Once the datafeed is live you need to Map the client's accounts from the Datafeed to AdviserLogic.

Navigate to the Datafeed screen and select the provider from Datafeed Management > Select Platform from the dropdown.

Select the Adviser Code from the dropdown. option.

Search for the individual, and select the Map options.

Select the Map button. Choose From:

Create New - If the client is not added to Adviserlogic and you want to map the account code with the client without creating the client in the Fact Find.

Existing - To map the datafeed to an existing client. Recommended

Joint - To map the account code with the joint entity.

Once the account is mapped search for the client again and select the refresh button. This will force the data through immediately, rather than waiting the requisite 24 hours.

📌Note

Avoid mapping to the superannuation entity, as AdviserLogic creates this after the account is mapped.

Always map to the Client’s Name, SMSF, or Trust.

If Super Is the Policy Owner

When a super fund owns an insurance policy, it should be linked to the corresponding super fund account rather than the client or partner.

Please ensure that the relevant super fund account is already present in the client's superannuation section.


Investment Datafeeds are only available to users holding an Investment Adviser License or Comprehensive Adviser License.

General Information

  • The datafeed reports 'Super' or 'Non-Super', but cannot specify the sub-product type as Super Core, Super Choice, Pension Core, or Pension Choice.

  • The HUB24 Datafeed only works at the individual investment level. Managed accounts will be displayed as individual holdings, but not as a single holding.


What information does this feed provide?

  • Investment Details: Unit Balance and Transactional Data, including purchases, redemptions and distributions.

  • Superannuation Details: including Product Type, Start Date, and Account Number.

  • This Datafeed updates daily.



What information is not available?

Insurance Policy Information
Personal details beyond name and date of birth



What conflicts might it cause?

HUB24 provides a Datafeed to Class. If a Class Datafeed is active to AdviserLogic, it may conflict with the Hub24 Datafeed and cause duplication.
