Overview

Setting up a datafeed in AdviserLogic allows you to automate data syncing, reducing manual entry and ensuring accurate client records. Follow the steps below to configure a datafeed for your preferred provider.

Access the Datafeed Screen

Navigate to the Datafeed screen. From the top right menu panel, select Datafeed FAQ.

📌 This will open an article in a new tab containing setup instructions for available Datafeed providers.

Select Your Provider

Scroll through the list of available datafeeds.

Locate and select the provider you wish to connect.

📌 Each provider may have specific setup steps, so it is important to follow the instructions carefully.

Follow the Setup Instructions

  • Review the setup details provided for your chosen provider.

  • Enter the necessary credentials as instructed.

  • Complete any required authorisation steps to activate the datafeed.

⚠️Important Notes on Datafeed Credentials

  • Datafeed credentials typically expire every year based on provider policies.

  • Regularly check and update your credentials to prevent disruptions.

  • Maintaining housekeeping best practices ensures continuous and accurate data integration. Setting a task to refresh the credentials that coincides with the datafeed expiry will ensure you have uninterrupted datafeeds.
