Overview
The Digital Advice module in AdviserLogic provides a structured workflow for creating, managing, and refining financial advice scenarios.
Once a Digital Advice Scenario is created, it is automatically saved and displayed on the Digital Advice Scenario screen for easy access and review.
Efficient Scenario Management for High-Quality Advice
The Digital Advice Scenario screen provides a clear, structured view of all advice scenarios, enabling you to efficiently track progress, refine recommendations, and generate compliant, client-focused advice.
👉Tracking Scenario Progress
Completed Scenarios: Display a green banner with "Scenario is Complete" and a Review button.
In-Progress Scenarios: Show a blue banner with "Resume working on" and a Resume button.
Completed Strategies: Listed within the scenario with a green tick to indicate completion.
✨Scenario Details & Data Updates
Each scenario includes a timestamp indicating the last edit date and when the client fact find data was captured.
If client fact find data is modified, select the circular refresh icon at the bottom right of the scenario to update the data within the scenario.
Hovering over a scenario card displays additional details, including the Scenario Name, percentage of completion, and quick access to editing options.

Edit Scenario Name
At the top left of the scenario tile, you can view and edit the Scenario Name for better organisation and identification.
Hover over the Scenario Name and select the ✏️pencil icon to edit and update the name as needed.
Change Template
Under the Scenario Name, you will see the template associated with your scenario.
Hover over the tile to reveal the pencil icon, then select it to change the template associated with the scenario.
Select the Template from the drop-down options.
Link Cashflow
Next to the Template, you will see the Link Cashflow option, allowing you to integrate Cashflow Modelling to support your recommendations.
Select the Link Cashflow button to link Holistic Cashflow charts to your advice.
Select from available Cashflow Scenarios
Review/Resume
Once you create a Digital Advice Scenario, it is automatically saved and displayed on the Digital Advice Scenario screen for easy access.
Advice Scenarios where all basic Digital Advice flow entry is completed will display a green banner with Scenario is Complete and a Review button.
💡Tip
Selecting the Review button takes you to the Review screen of the scenario, where you can make any necessary adjustments.
Scenarios that are not completed, will display a blue banner with a Resume button.
💡Tip
Selecting the Resume button will take you back to the point in the scenario where you left off/Saved, allowing you to continue seamlessly.
You can view the scenario completion percentage in the top left corner of the scenario tile, providing a quick progress update.
All strategies within a scenario will be listed. Completed strategies will have a green tick next to them.
Delete Strategy
You can delete individual strategy types from your scenario by hovering over the strategy type heading and selecting the rubbish bin icon on the right side of the tile, opposite the heading.
⚠️Important
Deleting a strategy type will remove all strategies under that category.
📌Example
Removing Superannuation Strategies will delete all strategies associated with that type.
💡To remove individual strategies, go to the strategy selection screen and deselect them individually.
Review Scenario Dates
At the bottom left of the Scenario tile, you'll find a timestamp indicating the last edit date for easy tracking and version control.
You can also view the date and timestamp of when the client fact find data was captured on the bottom right of the scenario tile for reference and accuracy.
Refresh Fact Find data
If you modify client fact find data after creating a scenario, select the 🔄️circular refresh icon at the bottom right of the scenario tile to update the data.
Additional Options and Actions
Hovering the mouse over the card will display additional options and functions.
Preview
Use the Preview option to view and edit your Advice document before finalising.
The Template Editor screen will open, displaying the advice along with full editing options, allowing you to make any final adjustments before downloading the advice.
📌Note
You must select a template for the editor and document to be displayed.
Download
When selecting the Download button, the following options will be available:
Download All | Downloads all the below options into a ZIP file for easier storage and sharing. |
Advice Document | Download the full Statement of Advice (SoA) generated for the scenario as:

Morningstar Research | Download the Morningstar Research data associated with the scenario. *Available for Morningstar Adviser Research Centre subscribers |
TMD Documents (Target Market Determinations) | Download relevant TMD documents for the selected products. |
PDS Documents (Product Disclosure Statements) | Downloads the PDS documents for the selected financial products. |
These options allow you to easily access, edit, and distribute the necessary advice and supporting documents.
Add Strategy
Allows you to add additional strategies to your scenario, expanding the advice scope as needed.
Selecting Add Strategy will navigate you to the Strategy Selection Screen, where you can add or remove strategies to adjust the scope of the advice.
📌Note
Selected strategies will appear as coloured tiles—click on them to deselect and remove them from your scenario.
Uncoloured tiles represent unselected strategies—click on them to add them to your scenario.
Copy
Selecting Copy allows you to duplicate a scenario, enabling you to:
Apply variations without affecting the original.
Test alternative strategies or recommendations for comparison.
Adjust for different client preferences or financial situations.
Create a backup version before making significant changes.
Streamline advice creation for similar or recurring scenarios.
A window will open where you can:
Enter a new scenario name | (defaults to existing scenario name + Copy). |
Choose whether to preserve the original fact find data or use the current fact find data. | If changes have been made since the original scenario was created, selecting the current fact find data ensures the latest information is used. |
Select Copy to duplicate the scenario with the chosen settings.
Delete
Permanently removes the entire scenario from your records.
Access the Delete button from the three dots menu (⋯) next to the Copy button in the top right corner of the scenario tile.
