What is an Import Email ID
An Import Email ID in AdviserLogic is a unique email address assigned to your user account or practice, used to forward emails directly into the Import Email section of the platform.
AdviserLogic automatically generates a unique Import email ID which can be found in the top left of your Import Email window located in the left menu panel of your AdviserLogic account.
When you forward emails to your Import Email ID, AdviserLogic captures the content and attachments and makes them available for assignment within the system.
🔄 Changing the Import Email Address in AdviserLogic
As a Practice Champion, you have the authority to request updates to your practice’s Import Email Address in AdviserLogic. Follow the steps below to submit a change request and ensure continuity across your document and email workflows.
✉️ Submit an Email Request
To change your import email address:
Send an email to [email protected].
The request must be sent from the Practice Champion’s registered email address.
📌 Note
If a paraplanner or support staff submits the request, the Practice Champion must be CC’d on the email.
📩 Import Email Address Format
The format of the Import Email Address in AdviserLogic is partially customisable. The domain name @advisermail.net is fixed and cannot be changed, as it is used across the platform to route emails into the system.
The first part of the email address — before the @ symbol — can be customised to suit your practice, provided it includes only alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers, without spaces or special characters).

A valid Import Email Address might be [email protected]. This ensures consistency and compatibility across email systems while still allowing for some personalisation based on your practice’s name or structure.
✅ Step 2: Verification and Update
Once your request is received, the support team will process the update.
You will receive a confirmation via the same email thread once the change is complete.
To verify your new Import Email Address, navigate to Import Email via the left-hand menu panel of your AdviserLogic account.
Your updated email will be displayed in the top-left corner of the Import Email screen.
