Overview
A vCard, also known as a Virtual Card, serves as a digital file format designed for storing and sharing contact information. It boasts compatibility with various software and devices, facilitating import into email clients, address books, and CRM systems. vCards can contain comprehensive details such as name, address, phone number, email, company information, photos, and URLs. With a standard .vcf file extension, they play a crucial role in ensuring consistent and accurate management of contact information.
The Export to Outlook feature allows you to bulk download your clients' Vcards, simplifying contact management within Outlook. Follow these steps to access and utilise this feature.
Accessing Export to Outlook
Navigate to Tools > Adviser Tools > General > Export to Outlook.
Controls
The Export to Outlook screen shows a tabulated list of clients and their contact details.
📌Note
Clients with no contact details will be marked with a dark grey background.
You can add or remove Partners or clients marked as Do Not Contact from the list by sliding the toggles along the top of the screen to Yes/No.
Search for clients by name using the search bar
Exporting Client Vcards
Select the clients to be exported individually by checking the tickbox next to the client column or select all clients from the master tickbox at the top of the column. Once you have chosen the clients select Export.
Choose either Export to CSV or Export to Outlook from the dropdown.

By using these features, you can streamline the process of downloading and managing your clients' contact information in Outlook, ensuring all relevant details are readily available.
