Overview

The Quick Docs feature in AdviserLogic allows users to set up templates for various shortcut buttons throughout the system. This functionality is used for generating specific reports and documents quickly and efficiently.

The Quick Docs feature has been important for managing various reports and templates. However, the transition to Digi templates represents a move towards more straightforward and efficient document management.

Understanding which reports remain relevant and which have transitioned can help users navigate this evolving functionality.

Accessing Quick Docs

To Access the Quick Docs feature, go to Tools > Adviser Tools > Practice Management > Quick Docs.

You will see a tiles menu listing the various shortcuts and reports throughout AdviserLogic and options to assign template folders and templates visa drop-down menus.

To change a template, go to the tile related to the shortcut or report you need to change, choose a folder from the drop-down options, and select a template from the folder to assign the template to the shortcut or report.

Current Status

While Quick Docs has been instrumental, many of its functions are becoming obsolete as we upgrade to Digital Templates. AdviserLogic is transitioning from DOCX connections to Digi templates managed through the Template Designer.

However, several reports are still managed through Quick Docs.
