Generate E-mail Templates in Workflows

Overview

This article explains how to use Generate E-mail Template feature generate a template report or send it directly to the client/partner via e-mail in AdviserLogic.

Access

Go to Tools > Administrative Tools > Practice Management > Workflow Setup

Selecting Add from the top right of the Workflow Templates window will open a new window.


Enter Name, Category, Type then select Add.

A new window by the name of Template Workflow Task will open and then enter the fields with an asterisk and make sure to select templates from Attach Templates then select Save.

Having completed these steps, select Save and Close.

​Open the Client, then select Tasks. From the task screen, select Options from the top right of the window, then from the drop-down select Add Workflow.

Enter the required fields. Select the previously created workflow from the drop-down menu and Save.


​Open the workflow and select templates. The screen will look like the one shown below.

Select Generate to download the document


​Selecting Email will activate the Email window. Enter data in the email body or select a template and select Send
