Overview

AdviserLogic offers a wide range of features and tools to help you manage your financial planning business. One of the most powerful tools at your disposal is the ability to create custom widgets. These widgets provide a pathway to streamline processes, personalize experiences, and elevate productivity to new heights.

What are Custom Widgets?

Custom widgets are small, self-contained applications that can be added to your Adviser Home screen dashboard. They are designed to enhance your experience and provide tailored solutions that reflect your unique needs. These widgets can be used to enhance client interactions, optimize internal workflows, and more.

How to Create Custom Widgets

Navigate to your AdviserLogic Adviser Home > Customise Adviser Home - Top right of the window.

A pop-up window will open, where you can customise how your Adviser home page appears by selecting the widgets you wish to show.

You can also create new custom widgets using the Add button located in the bottom left corner.

A new window will open displaying various options and filters to create your custom widget.

Choosing the widget type determines the available dependent fields, you can choose from.

Item

Defines the type of widget each option determines the type of item the widget governs. Selecting these options from the drop-down menu will dictate how the widget is constructed by determining the available dependent fields.

Client Search Groups

Choosing widget preferences for Clients will enable preset filters that manage client interactions.

Item

Client Search Groups

Defines the name of the widget which will show in the widget list

Search List

A search bar enables you to look for clients within the selected item, ensuring the chosen filters apply to them.

Filter Clients

Use the Filters to categorise client groups based on General, Financial, or a combination of both.

Select Filter Group

The Select Filter group field should be assigned after you have applied the filters to the client list. This will be the final step in the process of creating the widget. Once you have created a few client widget groups, these will be available for selection.

The customised group name is used to label the widget that will appear in the widget list. This name should be assigned during the final step, following the filtering of the client list. You will be prompted to save it as a new group or update an existing one.

Filter Clients

Clients can be filtered using:

Filters clients based on non-financial details within the Fact Find

Filters Clients based on Financial details within the Financial section of the Fact Find

Custom Filters

Filters Clients based on details within the Custom Fact Find section The custom filter will feature drop-down menus populated with options based on the custom fields found in the Custom Fact Finder.

General Filters

General Filters include all non-financial parameters sourced from the Fact Find. Each selection is dynamically refined by its associated dependent fields, ensuring precision and relevance.

The dropdown menu also offers additional filtering options, allowing for greater customisation and specificity in your search criteria
