Developed to streamline user support, Ava is equipped to answer your AdviserLogic support queries instantly, provide guidance, and offer step-by-step instructions for key AdviserLogic functionalities, helping you make the most out of AdviserLogic without interrupting your workflow.

How to Access Ava
Getting started with Ava is easy. When you log in to your AdviserLogic account, select the support button from the top right menu.
The Chat Window will open, and you can ask your question by selecting Ask a Question
Ava is fully integrated into the AdviserLogic platform, ensuring you can access support directly from your workspace without the need for additional installations or applications.
Asking questions
Asking Ava questions is simple and convenient.
Just select the Ask a Question tile from the Home or Messages section, and type in your query. Ava will search through all our existing content to find the best answer for you. While the response time depends on the complexity of your question, Ava will typically provide an answer within seconds.
You can also ask follow-up questions, or even completely unrelated ones, within the same conversation, making it easy to explore multiple topics quickly.

When using Ava, please avoid including any specific client details in your queries. Although we have strict measures in place to protect data, it’s important to maintain client privacy at all times. While Ava is a powerful tool, like all AI, she’s not perfect, so it’s best to keep sensitive information out of conversations.
We’re here to ensure Ava enhances your experience while keeping data security a top priority!
Once Ava has provided you with a correct answer, select That answered my question. This lets Ava know that the information was correct and will help her improve her responses in the future.
👉 Not getting the answers you want?
Ava is still learning and currently answers around 86% of questions correctly.
As she continues to grow and improve, her accuracy will only improve. If you’re not getting the answer you need, here are some tips to help:
Rephrase your question - Try using simpler or more specific wording. Ava, like all AI, can sometimes misinterpret complex phrasing or questions with multiple elements.
Be concise - Shorter, direct queries often yield better results. For example, instead of asking, “How do I create an API key to connect AdviserLogic with another platform?”, try asking, “How do I create an API key?”
Avoid jargon or abbreviations - If possible, use full terms instead of acronyms or highly specific technical terms that may not yet be recognised.
Re-prompting helps Ava learn - Asking a similar question in a slightly different way helps train Ava to understand your phrasing and style better for future interactions.
If Ava still doesn’t provide the information you need, don’t worry—our friendly support team is here to assist with your urgent queries. Simply ask to speak to an agent, and we’ll ensure you get the help you need.

Scrolling down the Home screen allows you to access additional options to make your life easier.
The top of the window will show your recently asked questions and a field allowing you to open a new conversation.

We have added a link to the AdviserLogic Knowledge Centre, while we build the new Help Centre
Along with the ability to ask new questions and review recent ones, you can now easily register for webinars or access Morningstar AdviserLogic Academy - to enrol in video courses or view previous webinars - directly from the chat window.
We have also made it easier to book a meeting directly into your CSM’s calendar from the chat window!
Just scroll down to the bottom of the Home section in your chat window, and select the Find a time link to book time directly into your Customer Success Managers calendar.
Messages Section
You can review or ask additional questions from the message section.
The messages section also allows you to revisit in-app messaging you may have closed or missed. Simply click on the message to interact with the content.
News Section
We are replacing the What's New button in AdviserLogic with the News feature in the Help Centre window. During this transitional period, when we have Product news, it will appear in both the News section in the Help Centre and the Legacy What's New section.
You can open the content without leaving AdviserLogic. Interacting with the news will open within the chat window, along with any subsequent links therein. Allowing you to stay up to date with our improvements - without interrupting your workflow.
Help Centre
We heard your feedback, and we couldn’t agree more! Ava now comes with a sleek, easy-to-navigate Help Centre designed to help you quickly find the information you need. All content is now categorised by process, making it easier than ever to locate what you’re looking for.
You can always ask Ava – she is faster and will surface the content as well as an articulate summary of the content. We have also added a link to the AdviserLogic Login page, in case you can't get into your account.
Our priority was to let you start benefiting from Ava’s fast and accurate processing capabilities as soon as possible, which is why the Help Centre is still under construction.
When you ask Ava a question, she will access resources from both the current and previous Help Centres. During this transitional phase, the source of the information Ava provides will depend on whether the content has been optimised for her new environment.
Here’s how you can tell where the content comes from:
Blue Arrow - Content optimised for Ava will display a small blue arrow and open directly within the chat window for a seamless experience.
Blue Expand Button - Content still hosted in the AdviserLogic Knowledge Centre in the Morningstar Community will appear with a blue Expand button, linking you to the relevant resource.
Additionally, you can easily rate the articles you access. This feedback helps us improve the quality and relevance of the content that feeds Ava, ensuring she continues to deliver accurate and helpful answers.
