โš ๏ธYou must be an authorised representative (as outlined in your contract) to be able to request a data extract

Overview

If you're wrapping up your use of AdviserLogic or need a complete export of your practice data for compliance, migration, or peace of mind, weโ€™re here to help.

A full data extract includes all your key records - client details, documents, SOAs, workflows, and more - delivered securely and in your preferred format.

๐Ÿ’ฒ Cost

The cost for a data extraction is $500 + GST per format.
If you request both SQL and CSV, the total cost will be $1,000 + GST.

An invoice will be issued once the extraction process commences.

๐Ÿ’ก Depending on your needs, a full extract may not be required.

Your CSM will explore the best options with you, in some cases, a Database Segmentation Report may be suitable, which you can build yourself at no cost within AdviserLogic.

To begin, you'll need to book a meeting with your Customer Success Manager (CSM) so we can understand your requirements and make sure everything is actioned correctly.

Follow the steps below to request a data extract.

๐ŸŽง Open the Help Centre

Select the headphones icon in the top-right corner of AdviserLogic to open the Help Centre.

๐Ÿ“… Book a Meeting

On the Home page, scroll down to the Book a Meeting with Your CSM button.

๐Ÿ“… Choose a Date and Time

Select a Date and Time that works for you.

๐Ÿ“ Information to Include in the Description Field

In the Description field, include that your meeting is to request a data extract, and let us know if there are any specific areas youโ€™d like to cover (e.g. particular accounts, document types, or historical date ranges). Once complete, scroll down and select Schedule Event.

To help streamline the data migration process, please provide:

๐Ÿ”€ Data Destination

Where should the extracted data be delivered? (e.g. secure email address, external platform, technology provider)

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Format of Data

Would you like your data in SQL (preferred by most third-party systems), CSV (easier to open without software), or both?

๐Ÿ“„ AFSL Requirement

Does your AFSL require a copy of the extracted data for compliance purposes?

๐Ÿ“† Preferred Start Date

When would you like the extraction to begin?

๐Ÿ’กTip

Providing these details upfront ensures a faster, more accurate data handover with fewer delays.

Once complete, scroll down and select Schedule Event.

๐Ÿ“… Extraction Commencement Date

We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred start date; however, a minimum of 14 daysโ€™ notice is required.

Your actual extraction date will depend on our current import/export queue, and your CSM will help confirm the earliest available slot.

๐Ÿ’ฌ During the Session, Your CSM Will:

  • Assess your data requirements

  • Discuss the most suitable method โ€” including no-cost options like segmentation reports, if appropriate

  • Confirm pricing if a full extract is needed

  • Coordinate with our Data & Consulting Team

  • Address compliance or timing questions

  • Confirm your requested extraction details and formats

  • Review billing and timing expectations

  • Coordinate with our Data & Consulting team to schedule the extraction

  • Address any additional questions you may have

๐Ÿ‘‰ What Happens Next?

Once we receive all required information and confirm your extraction date:

  • Our Data & Consulting Team will take over the process

  • Youโ€™ll receive updates at each stage โ€” from processing to delivery

  • A final invoice will be sent upon extraction commencement

Data extracts are generally delivered within 3โ€“5 business days of the confirmed start date, subject to current queue volumes.
