Invoice Cost Breakdown

Learn about the cost breakdown on an AdviserLogic invoice.

⚠️Only designated Practice Champions are authorised to approve billing requests. Please ensure requests are submitted by an authorised user.



If you need to know the cost breakdown of the amount charged in your AdviserLogic invoice, Practice Champion can raise a ticket or refer to the Supplementary spreadsheet shared along with the invoice.

How to Raise the Ticket

The Practice Champion can submit a request through the Help Centre to know the cost breakdown.

Select Invoice Query - Request Form from Create a ticket

Select the Cost Breakdown option from the drop-down under Type of Invoice Query

Select the Create ticket button.

Verification and Confirmation

Once your request is received, our Support team will prepare the cost breakdown and share it with you within the same ticket.

The Support team may also include the supplementary spreadsheet alongside the cost breakdown to provide additional clarity.

Supplementary Spreadsheet


The Supplementary spreadsheet includes a detailed breakdown of the costs reflected in the invoice. Here are the key fields you will find in the spreadsheet.

Salesforce Client ID

A unique ID associated with the client under Morningstar.

Biller Name

The name of the entity to whom it is billed, which can be a practice or an AFSL (Australian Financial Services Licence).

Practice Name

The name of the practice, company, or firm.

User Name

The name of the user utilising Morningstar products such as AdviserLogic, Pay Logic, AFSL Dashboard, FinaMetrica, etc.

Opportunity Owner

The email ID associated with the Customer Success Manager of your practice.

Product Family

The Morningstar product that the users are using and being charged for.

Product Type

The type of Morningstar product the user is using.

Quantity

The number of users utilising the Morningstar product.

Unit Price/Total Billing

The cost excludes GST.


By reviewing the Supplementary spreadsheet, you can easily understand the cost breakdown of the amount charged in your invoice.

📢 Important Billing Request Guidelines

  • If a paraplanner or support staff submits a request, the Practice Champion must be CC’d in the email.

  • Billing requests are handled exclusively via email and will not be processed through calls or chat support.
