Overview

As AdviserLogic evolves to support more secure, efficient, and compliant advice practices, we’re introducing enhanced access controls for users operating under a Support license.

These enhancements ensure secure, role-appropriate access within the Digital Advice and Insurance (Omnium) modules, aligning permissions with adviser administration needs and strengthening the integrity of advice creation.

Background

Support users have historically operated with specific Digital Advice Restrictions consistent with our standard licensing structure.

These guardrails reinforce governance by maintaining clear role definition and the integrity of advice generated.

What’s Changing

We understand that financial planning support roles are essential in preparing, documenting and assisting with the smooth delivery of advice.

To enable this more effectively, we’ve enhanced administrative capability and Support-user visibility within Digital Advice.

Digital Advice

Our new support view means that the Digital Advice - Scenario screen now has role-appropriate access to all Support users, supporting clearer responsibilities and smoother workflows.

From the Scenario screen, Support users can now:

  • Edit the Scenario Name

  • Change the Template by selecting a different default

  • Preview Advice in the interaction view

  • Link Cashflow tables and charts

  • Download advice outputs, including documents and supporting research

These areas were chosen to give Support users full access to the areas required to contribute meaningfully to the advice workflow, while preserving appropriate governance over final strategy design and execution.

Why This Change

This enhancement delivers:

  • Access to core materials needed to support efficient advice generation

  • Alignment with license entitlements and adviser governance standards

  • Greater consistency across AdviserLogic’s modules

  • Clear separation of responsibilities between Adviser and Support roles

  • Reduced risk of unintended edits or strategy changes

These refinements create a clearer, safer workspace that supports purposeful, efficient collaboration and responsible advice delivery.
