Overview
The Adviser Preview feature allows you to review the information your client will see in the Client Web Portal (CWP) before granting them access. This gives you the opportunity to verify portfolio information, make any necessary updates and synchronise the latest data to the portal. Once you are satisfied that the information is correct, you can enable the Client Web Portal for your client.
Using Adviser Preview helps ensure your clients receive accurate and up-to-date information from the moment they first log in.
Instructions
Before enabling CWP (Client Web Portal)
Open the required client record and navigate to the Client Home tab. Select Set up Client Login to open the Client Access page.
On the Client Access page, locate the Client Web Portal section. Before enabling the portal, leave the Client Web Portal toggle turned off. We recommend reviewing the client's information before granting access.
Select Sync beside the Client Web Portal toggle. A message is displayed recommending that you verify the client's portfolio data before providing access.
After selecting Sync, the status changes to Syncing while AdviserLogic prepares the latest client information for the portal.
Wait a few minutes for the synchronisation to complete.
Once synchronisation has finished, open the Client Web Portal from the Client Access page.
Review the information exactly as your client will see it and confirm that portfolio balances, holdings and other details are correct.
If any portfolio information requires updating, return to AdviserLogic, make the necessary changes to the client's Assets or Liabilities, then select Resync to synchronise the latest data before enabling the Client Web Portal.
Once the Client Web Portal is enabled, the option to update details through the sync button on an ad hoc basis is removed. Future updates will be done automatically overnight each day.
