Overview
The Client Web Portal (CWP) provides a secure online location where you can view your financial information, access documents shared by your adviser, monitor investment performance and securely exchange information with your advice practice.
Before accessing the portal, you must activate your account and create a password using the invitation email sent by your adviser.
How to Register for Client Web Portal
To access the Client Web Portal, your adviser will send you an email with instructions on how to register and create a custom password. This portal provides a secure way to view your financial information and communicate with your adviser. Once you receive the email, simply follow the instructions to get started.
From your Email Inbox, open the email received from the Adviser, and select Create Password.
From the Create Password window, enter a password into the New Password field. Then enter the same password into the Verify New Password field.
Select Reset Password. Once your new password is accepted, a confirmation window will state - Password Updated Successfully.
📌Note
Please note that the password activation link in your welcome email is only valid for 12 hours from the time it was sent.
If you were unable to activate your Client Web Portal account within that timeframe, you will receive a message indicating that the invitation has expired. To receive a new invitation, simply select the Generate Email button. This will automatically generate a new token, and you will receive a new email invitation to activate your account.
Once you receive a new invitation, then please follow the above-mentioned steps to create a Custom Password and activate your CWP account.
Accessing the Client Web Portal
Client Web Portal can be accessed by using the URL: https://fpau.morningstar.com/
Steps to Access CWP:
In any browser, launch https://fpau.morningstar.com/. The Login screen opens.
Enter your email address and custom password, and click Sign in.
In case of Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your password or would like to change it, you can reset your password using the 'Forgot your Password?' link located on the login screen of the Client Web Portal (CWP). Here are the steps to follow:
Open any browser and go to https://fpau.morningstar.com/ to access the login screen.
Select the Forgot your password? link located on the login screen.
The first Reset Password page will appear.
From there, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the password reset process. You will need to provide your email address and follow the prompts to verify your identity. Once you have successfully completed the password reset process, you will be able to log in to the Client Web Portal using your new password.
In the Email Address field, enter your email address.
Check your e-mail inbox for the Morningstar Password Assistance email sent from Morningstar, Inc. Select the reset password button, and open the reset password page.
Enter and verify your password, then select Submit. A message stating that your password has changed appears.
In any browser, launch https://fpau.morningstar.com/. Enter your email address and custom password, and select Sign in.
Once you have logged in, you will go to the landing page, where you can see a snapshot of your portfolio and different accounts.
Overview Section
Your Annual Investment Performance
This widget provides an overview of your investment performance over the past year, including your ending balance, total investment gain, and net returns (net additions and withdrawals). To view more detailed information, click on the 'View More' button in the top-right corner of the screen, which will take you to the 'Investment Section'.
Your Top Holdings and Asset Allocation
This widget displays a pie chart of your current holdings by asset type (e.g., international shares, direct property) as well as a list of your top 10 holdings by value and percentage.
Your Net Worth
This widget provides an overview of your assets and liabilities, categorized by type. Assets are classified as Super accounts, Investments, Cash, and Personal Assets, while debts are classified as Loans and Credit Cards.
Your Insurance Details
The section provides a summary of the client's insurance policies recorded within AdviserLogic. This allows clients to quickly review their insurance arrangements alongside their investment and financial information.
Documents
This section displays all documents shared by your Adviser. Here you can find important documents such as financial statements, tax documents,
and other important records.
Investment Section
On the top of the screen, there is a filter section that allows you to change the time horizon. You can select a time period of the last 3 years, 5 years, or 1 year, etc.
Ending Balance provides you with the current ending balance on the selected date or the end of the selected time period.
Total Gain gives you the investment gain in terms of value and percentage over the selected time period.
Cumulative Contribution displays the total additions and withdrawals made in the selected time period.
The How my investments are doing section is a graphical representation of your ending balance and cumulative contributions over time. You can use the graph lines to see the general trend, and hovering over the lines will provide you with the ending balance and cumulative contribution values on a particular day.
The final values for ending balance and cumulative contributions are represented at the end of the chart, and they are the values as of today or at the end of the selected time period.
The How my investments are Diversified section provides a pictorial representation of your asset allocations, with a list on the side to help you understand the diversification of assets in terms of type, such as Australian shares, international shares, property, cash, etc.
The How much have my investments grown section allows you to hover over the highlighted section in the graph to see how much your investments have grown in a specific period of time.
Scrolling down further will reveal two more sections
The Accounts section displays a comprehensive list of your investment accounts, including their current value, net investment, returns percentage, and inception date. You can sort the list by value to see which accounts hold the most value.
Holding in my Household: This is the last section under the Investment tab, which gives you the list of all the assets, their value, their % allocation, and their security type, here also you can sort the Holdings based on the value (High to low or low to high)
Document Section
The Documents tab, where you can access all the documents that have been shared by your adviser. Additionally, you have the ability to upload documents directly, which will be reflected in your CWP account and shared with your adviser.
