Changing the Owning Entity of a Data Feed
There are two ways to change the Owning Entity of a data feed. This is referred to as Remapping the Datafeed code.
βOption One
To change the Owning Entity of a data feed, follow these steps:
Navigate to Datafeeds by selecting the Datafeeds button from the top right of your AdviserLogic window.

On the left, there is a menu column. Select the Provider from the drop down menu from the Select Provider heading under the Datafeed Management heading to open it. Alternatively, select All Datafeeds

For Insurance Datafeeds, use the lower option All Insurance / Select Insurance.

Locate the client account you want to change by typing their name into the search bar.

Select Remap

Select the Existing Individual button, and then search for the new entity that you want the account to be linked to, and hit Save to complete the process.

βOption Two
To change the Owning Entity of a data feed using this option, follow these steps:
Navigate to Fact Finder > Internal for the client you'd like to change. Scroll down to the Account Codes section at the bottom of the section.

Locate the data feed you'd like to remap from the list of existing mapped feeds, and note down the Account Code.

Having noted the Account Code, hover over the blue arrow icon next to the code, and select Erase from the drop-down menu.

Select Ok on the confirmation message.This will remove the Datafeed from the entity it is currently mapped to. Next, we have to link the Datafeed to the new entity.

Then go to Datafeeds to Map the now unmapped account by selecting the provider, all unmapped accounts for this provider will show in the list once Show Unmapped Accounts is ticked

Select Existing Individual and map the Datafeed to the correct entity by typing this in.
Refresh Datafeed
To immediately pull the datafeed through search for the client again and select Refresh. This will ensure the datafeed is live, alternatively you can wait 24 hours for the feed to upload.
