Overview

If your client has a relationship with another client that is not covered by our default relationship categories, you can create a custom relationship to accurately describe how your clients are connected. Custom relationships help you maintain clear, meaningful client records and ensure relationships are represented correctly across AdviserLogic.

Access

Go to Tools > Administrative Tools > Practice Management > Client Relationships

💡Tip

You must have access to Administrative Tools to manage Client Relationships.

In the Client Relationships window, fill in the Relation Name and the Pair Name, then select Save

When you select a Relationship on a client record, whoever it links to will receive whatever was in the other field. For example, you may set the relation name to Aunt and the pair name to Niece/Nephew. If you select client Venus Hemmingway as the Aunt (in the Client Relationships window) of Sally Hemminway, then Sally will show as the niece of Venus.
