Overview
AdviserLogic's Tasks Overview feature is a powerful tool for managing tasks within your practice.
It offers a detailed overview of tasks across various categories and users, helping you streamline your workflow and ensure tasks are properly tracked and managed.
This guide provides instructions on how to use the Tasks Overview feature.
💡Tip
You must have Administrative Access to use this feature.
Access
To access the Tasks Overview feature, go to Tools > Administrative Tools > Practice Management > Tasks Overview.
Interface
In the Tasks Overview section, admin users can view tasks categorised into four main fields.
| Displays the current status of each task, which can be Dormant, In Progress, Abandoned, or Completed |
| Shows the current user to whom the tasks are assigned |
| Indicates the priority or category of each task |
| Identifies the user or advisor who assigned the tasks |
Select the required parameter options from the dropdowns along the top of the Tasks Overview window.
A list of tasks will show underneath the selection fields based on the chosen parameters.
You can quickly edit the Description, Assignee, Status, Type and Assigner by clicking on the respective fields and choosing the requisite values from the drop-down menu.
All other fields can be edited by opening the task from the Open button along the right end of the line item.
Bulk Actions and Additional Features
The Tasks Overview feature also includes several useful functions:
Bulk Actions
To bulk edit the Status, select multiple tasks using the checkboxes, make the requisite changes by selecting the option from the drop-down field and then Update Selected.
Delete Tasks
Select multiple tasks using the checkboxes and click the Delete Selected Tasks button to remove them in bulk.
Export to Excel
Use this feature to export a detailed spreadsheet of tasks for further analysis or record-keeping.
To export an Excel sheet of the task select the Export to Excel button from the top left of the window.
