Stage 1
Establish CFS Edge Datafeed
Establish CFS Edge Datafeed
Sign in to the CFS Edge website
Open a second browser tab and log in to AdviserLogic > Go to Datafeeds > Select Datafeed Codes > Add
Select CFS Edge from the drop-down.
A new window will open, enter the CFS Edge adviser code, and select Get Access
Token
The page will redirect to the CFS Edge website, where you will be taken to an authorisation page.
On this page, you will need to review CFS Edge’s terms and conditions.
Select Yes, Allow to establish the datafeed connection.
⚠️Important⚠️
If you select "No, Do Not Allow," the datafeed connection will be terminated.
Once authorised, a confirmation message will display, and you will be redirected back to AdviserLogic.
A brief confirmation message will display, and you will be redirected back to AdviserLogic.
A green tick will now show next to the registration within the datafeed screen in AdviserLogic, indicating the CFS Edge datafeed is now established.
Your CFS Edge datafeed should commence automatically within 48-72 hours. Most client accounts will map automatically.
📌Note
If the mapping criteria is unable to be mapped automatically, this may need to be done manually.
Stage 2
Map Client Accounts
Map Client Accounts
Once the datafeed is live you need to Map the client's accounts from the Datafeed to AdviserLogic.
Navigate to the Datafeed screen and select the provider from Datafeed Management > Select Platform from the dropdown.
Select the Adviser Code from the dropdown. option.
Search for the individual, and select the Map options.
Select the Map button. Choose From:
Create New - If the client is not added to Adviserlogic and you want to map the account code with the client without creating the client in the Fact Find.
Existing - To map the datafeed to an existing client. Recommended
Joint - To map the account code with the joint entity.
Once the account is mapped search for the client again and select the refresh button. This will force the data through immediately, rather than waiting the requisite 24 hours.
📌Note
Avoid mapping to the superannuation entity, as AdviserLogic creates this after the account is mapped.
Always map to the Client’s Name, SMSF, or Trust.
If Super Is the Policy Owner.
When a super fund owns an insurance policy, it should be linked to the corresponding super fund account rather than the client or partner.
Please ensure that the relevant super fund account is already present in the client's superannuation section.
