Datafeed Setup Instructions

Open the instructions for each stage of the setup process by clicking the arrow below.

Stage 1

Register EPI Login

To start an Investment Datafeed from OnePath, follow these steps. Please note that OnePath is a manual Datafeed.

Log in to OnePath Adviser Advantage.

Start by going to OnePath and selecting the Login button.

Log in using your access credentials.

Next, select the Launch Account Access button.

This will open a new website. Once it loads, hover over Reports and select Adviser Reports.

A list of reports will be displayed. Select Client Portfolio Balances.

Select Next at the bottom of the page.

On the next page, scroll down to the bottom, and change the Report Type option to Microsoft Excel download.

Select Next. On the next page, untick the Email Notification box, and set the Report Frequency to Weekly. You will need to set the number of repeats - set it as high as possible. Finally, select Run Report.

You will be taken to a Confirmation page. Select Home.

After 30 seconds, the Report will become available in the lower right corner of the Home Page.

Select the Report to download it, once the download is completed, open the document.

Go to File > Save As.

Change the File Type using the provided menu (below the Name box) to CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv).

Change the name of the File to match the format shown.

⚠️Important⚠️

Replace [yyyymmdd] with the current date, without the square brackets.

Select Save. When see the following message, select Yes.

🚧Important🚧

OnePath has recently removed two columns from this dataset. As an interim measure, you will have to add two columns to the spreadsheet, otherwise, AdviserLogic will not recognise the file and reject it.

The added files must be entered in the same location as the removed files. You can see a sample of this by going into AdviserLogic > Datafeeds > OnePath csv and downloading the sample spreadsheet.

We appreciate your patience while we resolve this conflict.

Stage 2

Setup Datafeed in AdviserLogic

Log in to your AdviserLogic account. Go to Datafeeds > Datafeed Codes > Add > Select OnePath from the drop-down.

Select OnePath from the left menu panel.

Select Add Files, and in the browse window that appears, locate the OnePath CSV file previously saved.

Select Open to begin uploading. Once the upload completes, the file will be displayed.

That’s it! The OnePath file should disappear overnight, and the Client account data will become available in the OnePath section of the Datafeeds area.

If the OnePath file is still visible the next day, contact [email protected] for assistance (be sure to include a copy of the CSV file).

The datafeed should be live instantly. Please check the File Received Last Date column from the datafeed landing page/datafeed codes page.

The last file received date should be within a few days of the current date, if this date is older, or does not reflect the date the datafeed was last uploaded please contact Support.

Once the datafeed is established, you may also check this page to troubleshoot common datafeed issues.

Stage 3

Map Client Accounts

Once the datafeed is live you need to Map the client's accounts from the Datafeed to AdviserLogic.

Navigate to the Datafeed screen and select the provider from Datafeed Management > Select Platform from the dropdown.

Select the Adviser Code from the dropdown. option.

Search for the individual, and select the Map options.

Select the Map button. Choose From:

Create New - If the client is not added to Adviserlogic and you want to map the account code with the client without creating the client in the Fact Find.

Existing - To map the datafeed to an existing client. Recommended

Joint - To map the account code with the joint entity.

Once the account is mapped search for the client again and select the refresh button. This will force the data through immediately, rather than waiting the requisite 24 hours.

📌Note

Avoid mapping to the superannuation entity, as this is created by AdviserLogic after the account is mapped.

Always map to the Client’s Name, SMSF, or Trust.

If Super Is the Policy Owner

When a super fund owns an insurance policy, it should be linked to the corresponding super fund account rather than the client or partner.

Please ensure that the relevant super fund account is already present in the client's superannuation section.

Investment Datafeeds are only available to users holding an Investment Adviser License or Comprehensive Adviser License.

Contact your CSM for more information on License Types.
