Overview

In AdviserLogic, you can send emails and SMS messages directly from the Client Home screen -no need to navigate elsewhere. This feature is designed to save time and streamline communication, especially for simple touchpoints like meeting reminders or follow-ups.

👉 Quick Message Workflow

From the Client Home screen:

To send an Email

Select the client’s email address. This will open a new message in the Email screen with the client’s details pre-filled.

To send an SMS

Select the client’s mobile number. This will launch the SMS screen, again pre-filled with their contact details.

This makes it easy to send quick messages without interrupting your workflow.

⚠️ Common Issue to Watch For

We’ve seen cases where this feature appears not to work—but it’s usually due to one simple detail:

  • The client's phone number must be set as the primary Mobile number in their contact information in Fact Find.

  • The client's primary email must be set as the primary email within Fact Find

If the number or email is saved under a different label (such as 'Work' or 'Home'), the SMS function won’t trigger from the Client Home screen.

📳 Sending SMS

Selecting the Mobile Phone link will open the SMS composer right in the window you are working in. The client will be automatically added as the recipient.

📧 Sending Email

Selecting the Email link will open the Email composer. The client will be automatically added as the recipient, where you can compose an email or select a template as usual.
